Cosmetic Injectables Training in Melbourne

Due to popular demand, the team at Derma Medical are about to launch our signature combined course in Melbourne on the 19th and 20th of May at the Crowne Plaza, Melbourne.

After having established an incredibly popular course run by our highly trained and respected trainers Dr Scott Horsburgh, Dr Edwina Morgan, and Lauren Clarke in Brisbane, we found that we were getting more and more interest from delegates in other parts of Australia. This time we have travelled south from Queensland to the sunny city of Melbourne, Victoria. We have been able to procure more highly respected aesthetic trainers who will be able to offer the same, high level training that we already provide in Brisbane, London, Manchester, Stockholm, and Dubai.

This first course will be led by Dr Zack Ally, CEO and Medical Director of Derma Medical. Dr Ally will be travelling from the UK and stopping in Dubai to teach our masterclass expert course on the 11th and 12th of May before heading onto Melbourne to open our first training weekend in this location. As he is based in the UK, this will be a rare opportunity for delegates in Australia to learn directly from Dr Zack Ally. In addition, we will be joined by Dr Scott Horsburgh, Dr Gordon Ku, and Dr Aliaa Yusof who will continue training at future Melbourne courses.

Our combined course consists of our foundation training on the first day, and then our advanced training on the second. By the end of the two days, you will have learned the 18 most popular cosmetic injecteables treatments.

Both days follow the same structure, whereby the morning will be spent covering the theory side of your training, including advice on starting your own business, facial anatomy, important considerations and developing your aesthetic eye.

After lunch we will spend the afternoon treating live cosmetic models, so there will be plenty of hands-on practice to ensure that you feel more than confident following the course to begin treating your clients independently. We have already booked in many cosmetic models for these dates.

Foundation Training

During the foundation training day, you will cover the 6 most common treatments including forehead, crow’s feet, and frown line anti-wrinkle treatments, lip filler, nasolabial line, and marionette filler. This can be booked as a single training day, or as part of our combined course. Upon completion of this training, you will receive certification of attendance which will include 8 CPD points. This certificate will allow you to apply for cosmetic indemnity insurance and begin practising straight away.

Advanced Training

Our advanced training day will cover advanced treatments including; chemical brow lift, bunny lines, gummy smiles, smoker’s lines, down-turned mouths, pebbled chins, neck and plastysmal band (turkey neck), jawline slimming and definition, hyperhidrosis, perioral sculpting, deep line rejuvenation, cheek augmentation and hand filler. As with the foundation training, this can be completed on its own if you have already completed foundation training with Derma Medical, or another training provider – we will just need to see proof of previous training.

This is the second day of our 2-day combined training course and is worth 8 CPD points.

Book Combined and Save 10%

Our combined course is a 2-day course consisting of our foundation and advanced training. We highly recommend booking the combined course to all delegates who are getting started in the field of cosmetic injectables.

Booking both days as a package will save you 10% compared to booking the two courses separately. Upon completion of the combined course you will receive a certificate that includes 16 CPD points. Over the two days you will treat 30+ live cosmetic models, so we are sure you will leave feeling more than confident to start practising as soon as you obtain your insurance following the course.

Who We Train

In Australia we can enrol doctors, dentists, and registered nurses on our training courses. Unfortunately, we are unable to train enrolled nurses or anyone else who is not a registered medical professional previously mentioned. You will need to provide your medical registration number as part of your course registration.

Why Choose Derma Medical?

We are CPD accredited and use a landmark based training system that is easy to follow and helps minimise any potential complications. We also offer 3 months of aftercare for our delegates, so you can contact us via email with any questions you might have, and our team of aesthetic doctors will offer their advice to help you get started. We are also one of the few training companies that only train on live cosmetic models rather than mannequins.

Cosmetic Models Needed

As with all our training courses, we need cosmetic models for our delegates to treat on the training days. All delegates are medical professionals who are training in cosmetic injectables they are closely supervised by our expert trainers throughout the procedures to ensure that the model receives the same result that they could expect from a clinic, but at a fraction of the price.

How to Book Your Course

We have already booked a number of places already for our course in Melbourne, so spaces are very limited due to us maintaining a strict number of delegates that we will book on any given course. We expect this to sell out far in advance.

You can book your place on the course online via our website or contact us for more details by emailing us at [email protected].

We look forward to seeing you in Melbourne in May!
